Funeral services for John Ross Weaver, 73, of Terrell, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2017, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor David Cartwright officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Terrell.

He passed away Thursday morning, November 30, 2017, in Mesquite.

John was born July 11, 1944, in Tyler, Texas the son of John and Lois Weaver. He was raised and graduated from high school in Tyler. John was self-employed in the Terrell area, where he was a horse and tack trader most of his life. He was married to Carolyn Weaver for twenty-five years and has been with Lisa Prestridge for the past ten years. John has lived in Terrell for over thirty years and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Matt Weaver and Dwayne Weaver.

John is survived by his wife, Lisa Prestridge, of Terrell; son, John Michael Weaver & wife, Brandi, of Wills Point; daughter, Davelyn Casbeer & husband, Monty, of Corsicana; brother, Gary Weaver & wife, Louise, of Crandall; two sisters-in-law, Amanda Romo, of Terrell and Christi Prestridge, of Terrell; five grandchildren, Danyale Roberts, Dylan Roberts, Carley Casbeer, Tyler Casbeer and Daniel Norrell and great-grandson, Bentley Garrett.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
