Private funeral mass for Johnnie Buccola Malouf, 94, of Wills Point, is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2019, at the Calvary Hill Mausoleum Chapel in Dallas with Bishop Michael Duca officiating. Services are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed early Wednesday morning, June 26, 2019, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Johnnie B. Malouf was born November 3, 1924, to Anthony and Lucy Buccola in Dallas. She grew up in West Dallas with her parents and four sisters working in the fields as share croppers. Johnnie B. graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1942 and went to work at Republic National Bank. She married Johnie Malouf in 1952 and in 1960 they moved to Wills Point, where they successfully ran Malouf Manufacturing Dress Company for forty years. Johnnie B. and Johnie were blessed with three children, Pat Malouf, Tom Malouf and Mike Malouf. Johnnie B. was very faithful to the community and the Lord throughout her life. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, where she put the Lord first in her life. She enjoyed church, spending time with her kids, grandkids and working, especially physical labor.
Preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Lucy Buccola; husband, Johnie Malouf, of sixty years; beloved son, John Patrick Malouf and three sisters.
Johnnie B. is survived by two sons, Tom Malouf & wife, Mona, of Wills Point and Mike Malouf & wife, Cindy, of Canton; four grandchildren, Craig Malouf & wife, Jaime, of Wills Point, Bryan Malouf & wife, Mallory, of Wills Point, Stephen Malouf, of Canton and Patrick Malouf, of Canton; four great-grandchildren, Cole, Cooper, Blake and Jacob Malouf and a sister, Dorothy McGuill, of Plano.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
