Johnny Zabonik, 64, passed away on November 8, 2024, in Greenville, Texas. Born in Dallas, Texas, on December 25, 1959.  Johnny loved watching Nascar and football. His hobbies included spending quality time with his grandkids, who were the light of his life.

Johnny worked as an air conditioner technician at Service Contractor in Dallas, dedicating many years to the profession before retiring in 2004. Known for his creative and wise nature, he was also incredibly handy, a trait that served him well both professionally and personally.

Family was the cornerstone of Johnny's life. He is survived by his wife, Saundra Zabonik; daughters, Jennifer Walters (Jason) and Amber Baker (Wesley Young); sisters, Connie Jo Cates and Henrietta Clark. His joy was multiplied by his grandchildren, Kalab, Kaden, Kason, Kane, Karter Jo, Jeanette, and Jacob, who will miss their grandfather's presence on a daily basis, where he often shared stories and laughter.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Daisey Zabonik; brothers, Jody and James Zabonik; and sister, Donna Baldwin.

Memorial services will be held by family at a later date.
