Jose R. Hernandez, 57, of Irving, Texas passed away on October 15, 2021, in Irving, Texas.

Jose was born on April 12, 1964, in Muzquiz Coahuila, Mexico to Rogelio Hernandez and Betzabe Luna. He spent 25 years in the Wills Point area moving to Irving where he resided the last 15 years with his beloved wife Claudia Morales. They were of the Catholic faith. He loved working out, going to sporting events, spending time with his grandchildren, and he considered work his vacation.

Jose is survived by his wife Claudia Hernandez; father Rogelio Hernandez; sons, Jesse Merino and wife Lisa and Joseph Hernandez and wife Katherine; daughters, Diana Hernandez and husband Marcelo Gutierrez, Veronica Iveet Hernandez and Melissa Hernandez; sisters, Margarita Lira and husband Jesus, Maria Del Lourdes and Francisca Hernandez; grandchildren, David Gutierrez, Cristy Gutierrez, Marcelo Gutierrez, Aracely Gutierrez, Jorge Gutierrez, Daniel Gutierrez, Jacob Merino, Milas Hernandez, Leonardo Hernandez and Rockefeller Hernandez.

Jose is preceded in death by his mother Betzabe Luna, older brother Martin Hernandez and older sister Maria Del Carmen Alonzo.

Rosary will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 5 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Lukes Catholic Church in Wills Point, Texas. Online condolences may be made at allanfullerfuneralhome.com.

José es precedido en la muerte por su madre Betzabe Luna, su hermano mayor Martín Hernández y su hermana mayor María Del Carmen Alonzo.
