Obituary

Joshua “Tylor” McKnight, born August 24, 1995, in Athens, Texas, passed away on May 7, 2026, in Wills Point, Texas. A son of his beloved family and a friend to many, Joshua's life was a testament to resilience, joy, and a true spirit of living life to its fullest.

Tylor was known for his unmistakable personality—funny, loud, unapologetic, and a CEO of Smart Remarks in the most endearing ways. His vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He enjoyed the thrill of horror movies and found joy in the immersive worlds of video games.

A proud graduate of Canton High School in 2013, Joshua held his graduation as one of his most significant accomplishments. Against all odds and medical expectations, he outlived the prognosis offered by doctors, embodying strength and determination at every step.

He leaves behind a devoted family who cherished him deeply: his mother, Sonya Golden; stepfather, Jimbo Williams; brother, Jacob Williams and his wife, Payton; niece, Kacey Williams; nephew, Michael Williams; grandparents Eddie and Karen Golden, and Carla Conatser; aunts Vickie Willis-Bryer and Kelli and husband, Kreg Johnson; uncle Marvin Conatser; cousins Makayla Golden and Masen Johnson; and his good friend, Justin Dearing along with his gaming buddies Hyde, Miss and Boss. Their lives were enriched by his presence and will forever hold the memories of his laughter and love.

Tylor was preceded in death by his brother, Justin McKnight; grandfather, Donnie Conatser; aunts Misty Willis and Shannon Williams; and uncle Nycholas Golden. Their remembrance is carried on through the family and friends who unite in grief and celebration of Joshua's extraordinary life.

Tylor's passing is a profound loss to all who knew him, yet his legacy of courage, humor, and authentic living will continue to inspire. His life was one lived fully and fiercely, leaving behind a lasting impression of a man who truly embraced every moment with unapologetic enthusiasm and heart. Rest in peace, Tylor. Your story remains a treasured chapter in the hearts of those who loved you.

Tylor's life will be celebrated on May 16, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home, located at 205 Corky Boyd Avenue in Wills Point, Texas.
