Joy L. Nobles, age 84, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, in Wills Point, Texas. She was born on August 27, 1940, in Arizona to Charles D. Brown and Margaret Joyce Fillaman and was raised in her beloved home state. Attending Cliffton High School graduating with the class of 1958.

In 1980, Joy married Hoyt Nobles, with whom she shared a loving marriage until his passing in 2007. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Crestwood Nursing until her retirement in 2005, dedicating herself to the care and comfort of others.

Joy was a woman of many talents and passions. She found joy in crafting, working in her yard, sewing, playing card games, and cooking. Her creativity and humor brought light to those around her, and her loving nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She is survived by her children: sons Greg Garrison (Jodi) of Wills Point, Texas, and Warren Nobles of Mesquite, Texas; daughters Darla Garrison of Wills Point, Texas, Elizabeth Hackworth (Richard) of Garland, Texas, and Sybrena Hill of Paris, Texas. Joy also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Justin, Tyler, Nicholas, Zackery, Dillon, William, Jessica, and Vanessa; as well as her great-grandchildren: Nova, Grayson, Jimmy, Braden, Connor, Mason, Tanner, Ava, Rylee, Teagan, Tucker, Everlea, Cullen, Jeffrey, Cameron, Carleigh, Alexia, Aidan, Mikayla, Autumn, Baylee, and Rowan.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hoyt Nobles; her parents Charles D. Brown and Margaret J. Fillaman; her infant daughter Pam; and her grandson Kody.

A celebration of Joy's life will be held on February 22, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Round Flat Pentecostal Church in Fruitvale (3480 VZ CR 1910 Fruitvale TX 75127), officiated by Pastor Homer Morgan.

Joy's memory will live on through the love she shared with her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
