Obituary

Funeral services for Juanita Vivian Faulkner, 96, of Greenville, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Ron Dummer officiating.  Interment will follow at Bright Star Cemetery north of Wills Point.
She passed away Friday evening, January 19, 2018, in Greenville.
Juanita was born August 2, 1921, in Mesquite, the daughter of William Philip Hale and Maude Elizabeth Lamb Hale.  She was raised in Dallas and attended A.H. Forest Avenue High School.  In March 1939, she married Leo Lefler and later on May 28, 1964, she married James Melton Faulkner in Mesquite.  Juanita was a machinist in her earlier years and later a homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and traveling.  She lived in Mesquite prior to moving to Lake Tawakoni in 1974.  Juanita was a member of Seven Oaks Baptist Church north of Wills Point.
Preceded in death by her parents, William Philip and Maude Elizabeth Hale; husband, James "Mel" Faulkner on November 12, 2010; two daughters, Barbara Usrey and Shirley Lefler; four brothers, William Hale, Philip Hale, Howard Hale and Carter Hale; five sisters, Lila Hudson, Viola Reeder, Ruth Hanna, Elizabeth Duff and Victoria Lefler and a grandson, Jeffrey Bethard.
Juanita is survived by two daughters, Lucille Bethard & husband, Kenneth, of Kerrville and Anita Ray, of Richardson; sister-in-law, Polly Faulkner, of Cuero; eight grandchildren, Bruce Bethard & wife, Rebecca, Michele Moore & husband, David, Pamela Klemz & husband, Ed, Rebecca Ray & husband, Bob Carpenter, Melynda Green & husband, Rob, Debbie Rivers & husband, Bobby, Donna Sandoval & husband, Gil and Darren Usrey; sixteen great-grandchildren; two nephews, Rodney Lefler & David Lefler; niece, Anita Duff; other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to funeral service on Monday.
