Judith L. King (Johnson), a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, in Mesquite, Texas. Born on March 31, 1943, in Edgewood, Texas, Judi was the cherished daughter of Tommy Johnson and Allene Mosley, who preceded her in death.

Raised in the close-knit community of Edgewood, Judi embraced the Baptist faith and carried her values with her throughout her life. In 1966, she moved to Mesquite, Texas, where she continued to cultivate her vibrant spirit. Known for her humor, adventurous nature, and creativity, Judi brought joy to those around her. She had a passion for cooking and dancing, activities that she shared with family and friends, leaving behind cherished memories.

Judi is survived by her devoted daughter, Dawn Parsons, and her loving sister, Pauline Norton. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Chelsey Parson and her partner Josh Alters, and Devin Stubblefield, as well as her great-grandchildren, Brody, Mason, Beckham, and Caleb, who will carry forward her spirit and love.

A funeral service to honor Judi's life will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home Chapel, located at 205 Corky Boyd Ave., Wills Point, Texas. Following the service, Judi will be laid to rest at Small Cemetery in Edgewood, where she will be reunited with her parents.

Judi L. King will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, and the indelible mark she left on her family and friends. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
