Julianna
Smith
July 26, 1952 – December 14, 2025
Julianna Lowrance Smith, 73, passed away on December 14, 2025, in Palestine, Texas. Born on July 26, 1952, in Michigan, she was raised in Red Oak, Texas, where she graduated from Red Oak High School with the class of 1972. She later earned an Associate's Degree in Accounting, a testament to her dedication and attention to detail.
Julianna built a long and steady career that reflected her strong work ethic and meticulous nature. She worked for many years at Texas Instruments before continuing her professional journey at Old Mill Marketplace at First Monday in Canton, Texas. She retired in 2014 after years of committed service.
She was a woman of deep Christian faith and lived a life marked by love, resilience, and devotion to her family. Julianna was known for being loving yet stubborn—a protective mother who cared deeply for her children and grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit extended to all who knew her as "Nana," a role she cherished dearly.
Julianna is survived by her husband Ronald Moore; son Lance Smith; daughters Lauren Smith Frosch and husband Billy, and Natalie Smith; grandchildren Kayleigh Contreras Hill and husband Jack, Sydnie Smith, and Charlotte Pierce; and great-grandchildren Brooklynn Stanford and Ainsley Hill.
She was preceded in death by her first husband William Joseph Smith; parents RC and Thelma Lowrance; daughter Tracey Danielle Smith; and brother Robert Lowrance.
In recent years, Julianna made her home in Palestine, Texas, where she had lived for the past two and a half years after spending over two decades in Canton. It was in 2022 that she met Ronald Moore, bringing new companionship into her life.
Julianna found joy in the simple pleasures—shopping trips that brought delight, staying informed through the news with a keen interest in politics, and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed remodeling projects around the house and once loved gardening until health challenges made it difficult. Her eye for detail extended into every aspect of her life—she was known to micro-manage with precision but always out of care for those around her.
Her memory will live on through the lives she touched with her unwavering love and strength. May her legacy bring comfort to those who knew her. A Visitation will be held on December 19, 2025, from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home 205 Corky Boyd Ave. in Wills Point. A Funeral Service will be held on December 19, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM also at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home Chapel.
