Julio Avendano, 76, of Dallas, Texas passed away on July 1, 2023.

Julio was born on October 4, 1946, in Ciudad-Juarez, Mexico to Roberto Avendano and Maria De La Luz Rooa.

Julio was a follower of Christ.  Prior to living in the Dallas area the past forty eight years he presided in El Paso, Texas.

He enjoyed going to the park, listening to music, playing his guitar, working on his health and being free. He owned The Universe Trucking Co. and retired in 2016.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Mirna Isela Avendano and sister Berta Salas.

Julio leaves behind three sons: Julio Avendano Jr., Gabriel Avendano and Mario Avendano; six daughters: Lourdes Avendano, Veronica Avendano, Victoria Avendano, Rebecca Reyes and husband Javier, LuzCarmen Avendano, and Barbara Avendano Bishop and husband Russell; two brothers: Jorge Avendano and Daniel Dorado; five sisters: Ester Chavez, Virginia Jara, Delia Arrieta, Rosa Sanchez, and Blanca Martinez; Grandchildren: Ashlee, Jesse, Melissa, Dominica, Roman, Valerie, Daisera, Moises, Joshua, Marco, Abigail, Rosalinda, Javier, Pedro, Julio, Elias, Liliana, Luna, EllieAna, Clementine; great-grandchildren: Melaynne, Maverick, Maxon, Emma, Jaydon, Silas, and Elias; and a host of nieces and nephews.
