Julius Michael Thomas, Sr., aged 59, passed away in Dallas, Texas on August 14, 2024. Born September 26, 1964, in Wills Point, Texas, Julius was known for his vibrant personality—funny, energetic, and universally regarded as a nice guy. He graduated from Wills Point High School in 1983 and was a lifelong resident of the area.

Julius was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and playing basketball. He was a member of St. Mary C.O.G.I.C in Wills Point.

He is survived by his son, Julius Thomas, Jr. (Scherena); his mother, Grace Thomas; and his sisters, Cheri Davis and Christel Scott. He was a proud grandfather to Jrue Thomas and Jakobi Thomas. A host of nieces and nephews and a very close friend James Booker. His father, Edgar Thomas, Jr., and his sister, Collete King, preceded him in death.

A visitation will be held at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point, Texas, on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
