Memorial services of Karen Purdy, 66, of Wills Point will be held Thursday, August 29 at 2 PM at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Karen passed away August 24, 2019. She was born November 19, 1952 in Dallas to Martha and Paul Clements Sr. She was a resident of Wills Point for 30 years and was a member and pastor along with her husband of the Community Gospel Church in Myrtle Springs. In her pastime she enjoyed going to garage sales, church and gospel concerts.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul Clements; sister, Belinda Barrick and daughter, Rebecca Purdy.

She is survived by her husband, Archie Purdy of 46 years; brothers, Steve Clement & wife, Carla of Terrell, David Clements of Idaho; sister, Patti Smith & husband, Jackie of Terrell; 4 grandchildren, Adam Pirtle, Brandon Pirtle, Destiny Stark and Jeremy Scott; along with many other loving family members and friends.
