Kattye Ebarb, 68, of Garland, passed away on May 11, 2020, at Medical City Plano.

Kattye was born to Thelma and John Gillean on January 18, 1952 in Mount Pleasant. She was raised in Mt. Pleasant, living in Garland with her husband the last 35 years. Kattye and Joseph were married in 1993. She retired from Yellow Freight System in 2011. She was of the Baptist faith.

To cherish her memories, Kattye leaves behind her husband, Joseph Ebarb of Garland; son, J.J. Smith and Marti of Kilgore; grandchildren, Cody, Caitlyn and Casey Smith; along with other loving relatives and friends.

Kattye is preceded in death by her parents; sister Bettye Jane Greenlee; brothers, Rex Gillean and  Danny J. Gillean Sr.

Private services will be held at a later date.
