Kenny Wayne Thompson, 70, of Wills Point, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at his home. Born on March 29, 1949 in Edgewood, he was the son of the late Eula and Dee Thompson.

Those left behind to cherish memories of Kenny are his wife, Vivian Thompson; sons, Bobby and wife, Jacki Thompson of Grand Saline, John and wife, Sophia Thompson of Fairfield; daughters, Julia Thompson and Melissa and J.J. Sherbert of Kemp; sister, Patricia Chaney of Athens; brother, David Thompson; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Alicia Pitts; brothers, Jerry Thompson, James Thompson and Bobby Thompson; sister, Doris Spruill.

He grew up in Edgewood though spending the last 30 years as a resident of Wills Point. Kenny was of the Baptist Faith. Throughout the years he was employed by Easley Trucking, Emmitt Burton, Country Club in Canton, Thompson Airport and McKinney Crushing. In 2011 Kenny retired from Wild Oaks Ranch. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 2 PM to 4 PM at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
