Obituary

In loving memory of Krystal Jean Pickering (House), who departed this life on the 28th of May 2024, at the age of thirty-nine years. Born on the 18th of July 1984, in Fort Worth, Texas, she was the daughter of Jeanie House and the late Larry Wayne House. Krystal's presence was a beacon of joy and warmth, characterized by her effervescent personality and her smile adorned with prominent dimples.

Krystal joined in holy matrimony with Mickey Pickering in the year of our Lord 2005, and from this union came forth their beloved children: Khloe, Konner, and Kennedy. Her life was a portrait of devotion to her family and to the simple pleasures that brought them together.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Jeanie House; her husband, Mickey; her children, Khloe, Konner, and Kennedy; her in-laws, Tina and Daniel Pickering; cousins James Brown, Joey Batson, Zachary Simpson, Brandi Partyka, Jennifer Brown, Holli Leclaire; Aunts, Karen Norris (spouse Jerry) Joanie Thompson, Diane Simpson; Uncle James Brown II (spouse Shauna), and many extended family members and friends. She now reunites with her father, Larry Wayne House and her grandparents who preceded her in passing.

Krystal, an alumnus of Forney High School, class of 2002, dedicated her professional life to the service of others, including her tenure at the Wills Point ISD Cafeteria and various childcare facilities in Mesquite. Her ultimate vocation was that of a stay-at-home mother, a role she embraced with grace and love.

A steadfast congregant of Restoration Life Church in Terrell, Texas, Krystal found solace in her faith and community. Her leisure time was spent in the joy of movies, games, and fishing, always with her children's laughter as the sweetest accompaniment.

The family invites you to commemorate Krystal's life on Saturday, the 1st of June 2024, at 3:00 in the afternoon, at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home, 205 Corky Boyd Ave., Wills Point, Texas. Visitation will precede the services beginning at 2:00 in the afternoon.
