Obituary

Memorial service for Kyle Wayne Hooten, 46, of Terrell, formerly of Wills Point, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Bryan Boothe and Rev. Buddy Boothe officiating.

He passed away early Monday morning, November 14, 2016, at Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman.

Kyle was born July 20, 1970, in Terrell, Texas, the son of Jerry Wayne Hooten and Debra Kay Tanner Hooten. He was raised in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1991. On August 28, 1999, he married Misti Haynes. They were married for six years. Kyle was formerly employed by Saf-Bi in Terrell and Darden Direct Distribution in Terrell. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, shooting guns and spending time with family and friends. Kyle was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Wayne and Debra Kay Hooten; sister, Karla Hooten and all of his grandparents.

Kyle is survived by two sons, Matthew Hooten, of Wills Point and Kyle Hooten, II, of Wills Point; daughter, Mickala Hooten, of Wills Point; two sisters, Sherry Curtis & husband, Ronnie, of Terrell and Jerri Rachelle Hooten, of Wills Point; granddaughter, Jaelynne Scarbrough; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
