Lela Decherd Bishop, of Wills Point, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at the age of 85.

Lela was born on August 12, 1935 in Dallas, Texas to the late Winston and Elizabeth Decherd. Before moving to Wills Point she lived in Balch Springs. Lela was of the Christian faith. She worked for Richard Jenkins Attorney and TXO where she retired in 1990. Lela loved horses, horse races and her family.

To cherish her memories, Lela leaves behind her son John Winston Decherd and Tonya Farris Decherd of Wills Point; grandchildren Ashley Decherds and Michael Decherd.

Lela is preceded in death by her parents and brother David Decherd.
