Funeral services for Leland Dale Vance, 86, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Family will be accepting guests one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

Dale passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Hunt Regional in Greenville, Texas surrounded by his loved ones.

Dale was born on February 19, 1936, in Monticello, Illinois, to the late Dollie and Winford Vance of Mesquite. He attended Mesquite High School. Dale married Paula Rose Driggars in Mesquite then moved to Wills Point. He was a member of the Masons, Shriners and Chapel on the lake. Dale retired from the Navy in January 1989.

Preceded in death by his parents Dollie and W.W. Vance, wife Rose Vance and brother Richard Vance.

Dale is survived by his son Wes and wife Nancy; daughters, Barbara and husband Richard and Paula and husband Jackie; sister-in-law Jackie Vance; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
