Levye Mae White, 82, passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 9, 1942, in Weatherford, Texas, and was raised in Edgewood, Texas.

Levye was known for her thoughtful, funny, and selfless nature. She found great joy in sewing and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Denise Bates, and her husband, Mike; her brothers, Nolan Daugherty and his wife, Ann, and Charles Daugherty and his wife, Joann; her sister, Trish Daugherty; grandchildren, Monica Doss and her husband, Blake, and Clayton Bates and his wife, Abby; as well as two great-grandchildren, Griffin Doss and Gentry Doss.

Levye was preceded in death by her parents, Mayoma Upchurch and J.P. Daugherty; her husband, Jeff Crim; and her late husband, Ocie White.

Visitation will be held at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Edgewood on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Levye's kindness and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
