On Friday, December 4, 2020, Linda Carolyn Adams, loving wife and mother of two children and one son by marriage passed away at the age of 76.
Linda was born on October 5,1944, in Cullman, Alabama. Linda preferred to be called Carolyn or Baby Baby; a nickname given by the firemen. She married Jerry W. Adams in 1990.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father and mother Robert and Lucille Whitehead, granddaughter Ashley Dawn and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband Jerry W. Carolyn's faith was very important to her. She would pray for her entire family and quote scripture during troubled times. She had a compassionate spirit and loved Jesus with all her heart. She was bubbly and had a fun-loving personality. She taught her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to pray and wait on God.
Carolyn loved children and worked as an early childhood director for more than ten years. She was Cherokee Indian and loved going to the Indian markets every year. She was involved with The Larry King Cardiac Foundation, studied for her pilots license and once drove a Formula race car. She collected tea pots and all things Betty Boop. She wasn't afraid to try anything once.
Carolyn was a sassy, fashion forward dresser. To know her is to know that every outfit matched head to toe.
