Obituary

Linda Jean Krantz (Langston), age 82, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, in Wills Point, Texas. Born on December 12, 1943, in Terrell, Texas, Linda lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and quiet strength.

A proud graduate of Wills Point High School in the Class of 1962, Linda later pursued higher education with determination and grace. In 1987, she earned her Nurse Practitioner degree from UT Dallas—an achievement that reflected her lifelong commitment to learning and service.

Linda dedicated much of her professional life to supporting women's health through her work with the Delta Area Economic Opportunity Corporation (DAEOC). Her career culminated in retirement in 2006 after years of meaningful contributions to the well-being of others. She was also a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health, further underscoring her devotion to advocacy and care within her field.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Linda found joy and fulfillment in her personal passions. She was an avid reader who cherished quiet moments with a good book. Her creativity flourished through painting, and she nurtured beauty around her through gardening—a reflection of the gentle spirit she brought into every aspect of life.

Linda married Wayne Krantz on June 17, 1962, at First Baptist Church in Wills Point. Their marriage lasted 62 years until his passing. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry Lynn Krantz, and her brothers, Bill Langston and Jerry Langston. Despite their loss, Linda cherished their memories with lasting love.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Kelli Krantz Hulsman, and her husband Dave. She also leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: David Hulsman (Erin), Joshua Hulsman (Lindsey), Jacob Hulsman (Jamie), and Noah Hulsman (Zane). Her six great-grandchildren are Mason Hulsman, Mathew Hulsman, Alexander Hulsman, Cassius Hulsman, Mathew Richardson, and Hunter Chambers. In addition, she is remembered by her niece, Trina Lacour (Roy), and her nephew, Philip Langston. Her legacy continues through them and all those who experienced her kindness.

May Linda Jean Krantz be remembered for the warmth she shared so freely and the gentle strength that defined her life.
