Funeral services for Linda Fay Wallace, 71, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018, at First Assembly of God in Wills Point with Pastor Wesley Wuerch and Mr. Ronnie Lee Wheeler officiating. Interment will be at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 24, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Linda was born August 5, 1946, in Shamrock, Texas, the daughter of John William Wheeler and Connie Fay Dunbar Wheeler. She was a lifelong resident of Wills Point, where she attended public school. She married Robert Wallace on August 26, 1961, in Wills Point. Linda was employed by the Wills Point I.S.D. for forty-one years, where she was the director of food service, retiring in 2010. She loved taking care of her family and friends and was mom to everyone. She enjoyed listening to Christian music. Linda was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God in Wills Point, where she had been a member at the church longer than anyone else. She also served as treasurer for the church.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Connie Wheeler; daughter, Robin Jeanette Wallace and two brothers, David Earl Wheeler and Stevie Ray Wheeler.
Linda is survived by her husband, Robert Wallace, of Wills Point; daughter, Linda Annette Whitaker & husband, Nelson, of Wills Point; three brothers, Ronnie Lee Wheeler & wife, Edith, of Wills Point, Jerry Dale Wheeler & wife, Kem, of Wills Point and Randy Paul Wheeler & wife, Delana, of Grand Saline; three sisters, Dorothy Ann Scott & husband, Richard, of Fruitvale, Mary Lorene Sparks & husband, Lynn, of Wills Point and Johnnie Ruth Pipes & husband, Carlos, of Fruitvale; two grandchildren, Robert Spicer & wife, Nashaé and Bobbi Whitaker Anderson & husband, Sawyer and two great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Spicer and Aubrey Anderson.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
