Funeral services for Ruby DeLois Baggett, 74, of Arlington, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Mr. Walter Hatchell officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.
She passed away Sunday evening, June 26, 2016 at Medical Center of Arlington.
Lois was born February 1, 1942, in Wills Point, Texas, the daughter of Joe Cook and Ruby Floyce Robertson Cook. She was raised in Wills Point where she attended public school. On March 17, 1959, she married Billy Neal Baggett in Dallas. Lois was a homemaker and enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, talking on the phone and cooking. She lived in Dallas prior to moving to Arlington fifty years ago.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ruby Cook; husband, Billy Baggett on September 15, 2014; son, Dennis Lee Baggett on April 15, 1990; six brothers, Floyd West, Gene West, Joe Cook, Jack Cook, Wayne Cook and Roy Cook; three sisters, Faye Roach, Juanita Langley and Nell Slocum.
Lois is survived by her son, Donny Baggett, of Arlington; two daughters, Cindy Moore, of Justin and Janet Hardee, of Justin; four brothers, Haskell Cook & wife, Grace, of Eustace, Gerald Cook & wife, Gerry, of Gun Barrel City, Bill Cook & wife, Cozette, of Gun Barrel City and Roger Cook & wife, Virginia, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Virgil Roach, of Alba; two sisters, Vee Jay Cook and Pablo Xigues, of Grand Prairie and Sara Nichols, of Gun Barrel City; four sisters-in-law, Dorothy West, of Alba, Maggie West, of Alba, Linda Cook, of Euless and Patty Cook, of Duncanville; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Baggett, Jennifer Wall, Nikki Fry, Travis Rice, Elizabeth Baggett and Lacie Baggett and four great-grandchildren, Alexis Baggett, Abigail Fry, Jackson Fry and Tyler Lee Baggett.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
