Funeral services for Lois Estelle Baker, 92, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Dr. Gene Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.
She passed away Monday morning, April 17, 2017, at her residence in Wills Point.
Lois was born July 28, 1924, in Abilene, Texas, the daughter of Jim Billings and Mary Park Billings. She was raised in Strawberry, Arkansas, where she attended public school. On January 22, 1946, she married Charles Leslie Baker in Lynn, Arkansas. She was formerly employed by Terrell State Hospital and retired from Titus Manufacturing in Terrell. She enjoyed fishing and being with her family. She lived in Terrell prior to moving to Wills Point in 1975. Lois was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wills Point.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Leslie Baker on December 24, 2000; one brother, Marshall Billings and two sisters, Rachael Chadwick and Virginia Smith.
Lois is survived by her two daughters, Betty Lawson & husband, Sam, of Terrell and Patsy Bullard, of Wills Point; three brothers, Brooks Billings & wife, June, of Oklahoma, Jim Billings & wife, LaVeda of Arkansas and Frank Billings & wife, Lorraine, of South Carolina; two sisters, Charlene Fithen & husband, Jim, of Illinois and Bernice Norton, of Arkansas; five grandchildren, Shawn Bullard, Chris Bullard & wife, Carol, Justin Lawson & wife, Ashley, Casey Lawson and Kelly Cunningham; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning one hour prior to service.
