Lon Edwin Dunn, 89, of Wills Point, passed away Wednesday night, January 18, 2017, in Greenville. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Lon was born March 7, 1927, in Albany, Texas, the son of Clifford Madison Dunn and Leona Anderson Dunn. He was raised in Clyde and Abilene, graduating from Clyde High School. Lon married Mary Ann Spagnoli, but later divorced. He was a self-employed surveyor for forty-seven years, retiring in 1992. Lon enjoyed watching sports. He lived in San Antonio prior to moving to Wills Point in 2010. Lon was of the Methodist faith.

Preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Leona Dunn and two brothers.

Lon is survived by two sons, David Dunn, of Wills Point and Lonnie Dunn, of New Braunfels; sister, Betty Jo Keen, of Van; three grandchildren, Clifford E. Dunn, Jill Dunn and Aiden Dunn and several great-grandchildren.
