Funeral services for Lucy Ritter, 74, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Ken Hackney officiating. Interment will follow at Bright Star Cemetery in Wills Point.

She passed away Thursday night, December 17, 2015, in Dallas.

Lucy was born April 2, 1941, in Huntsville. She was married to Eddie Jones and later to Tex Ritter. Lucy was employed as a waitress at Golden Corral in Dallas for several years and later was self-employed as a truck driver, retiring in 2005. She lived in Garland prior to moving to Wills Point thirty-one years ago. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her great-grandbabies. Lucy was a member of Chapel of the Lake near Lake Tawakoni.

Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nadine Vaughn and several brothers and sisters.

Lucy is survived by two granddaughters, Tiffany Bessette & husband, Michael, of Wills Point and Cassi Vaughn, of Wills Point; two great-grandchildren, Dustyn Bessette and Lane Bessette; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
