In remembrance of Luz Elena Delgado, whose life was a testament to love and devotion to her family. Born on January 1, 1964, in Melchor Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico, she departed this life peacefully on May 24, 2024, at the age of 60, in Tyler, Texas. Luz Elena was known for her kindness, love, care, and generous spirit. A spiritual member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Wills Point, Texas, she cherished the time spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren, and was committed to her daily prayers. Luz Elena found joy in working and gardening. She leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories for her family, who will miss her deeply.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Ramirez Delgado, whom she married on February 8, 2017. She is also survived by her sons, Francisco Castillo and John Nikolas Acosta; bonus son Miguel Delgado; daughters Arisbel Mena (spouse Luis Mena) and Iris Castillo (spouse Julio Menjivar); brothers Jesus Delgado and Santos Delgado; sisters Guadalupe Delgado, Lurdes Delgado, and Leticia Delgado; and her three grandchildren Julexy Leija, Jayden Menjivar, and Julianna Menjivar.
She was preceded in death by her father, Doroteo Delgado Fuentes, mother Santa Rosa Bernal Martinez; son, Luis Antonio Castillo; daughter, Cyntia Castillo and brothers Luis Delgado and Miguel Delgado.
Visitation for Luz Elena will be on Monday June 3, 2024, from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at Mullin Fuller Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Wills Point, Texas at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Burial Services will follow at White Rose Cemetery at 2:30 pm.

En recuerdo de Luz Elena Delgado, cuya vida fue testimonio de amor y devoción hacia su familia. Nacida el 1 de enero de 1964 en Melchor Muzquiz, Coahuila, México, partió pacíficamente de esta vida el 24 de mayo de 2024, a la edad de 60 años, en Tyler, Texas. Luz Elena era conocida por su amabilidad, amor, cariño y espíritu generoso. Miembro espiritual de la Iglesia Católica St. Luke en Wills Point, Texas, apreciaba el tiempo que pasaba con su familia, particularmente con sus nietos, y estaba comprometida con sus oraciones diarias. La visitacion de Luz Elena será el lunes 3 de junio de 2024, de 10:30 am - 12:30 pm en Mullin Fuller Funeral Home Chapel. La misa se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica St. Luke en Wills Point, Texas, de 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Los servicios de entierro se realizarán en el cementerio White Rose a las 2:30 pm.
