Makayla Alyssa Ann Gassman, 21, of Wills Point passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, in Tyler, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Family will be accepting guests one hour prior for visitation.

On March 6, 2001, Makayla was born to Michael Gassman and Misty Gassman (Nowlin) in Athens, Texas. She graduated from Wills Point High School in 2019. Makayla was a certified CNA. She was a member of Community Gospel Church of Myrtle Springs. She enjoyed shopping, taking pictures, thrift store shopping and posing for the camera and loved making Tik Tok's.

Makayla is survived by her parents; brother Jordan Gassman and wife Raylea and nephew Braxton and another niece or nephew on the way; Aunts, Tiffany Nowlin and husband Kirk Turner, Paula Williams and husband Michael; and Melody Ellis and husband Chris; grandparents David and Annette McCallum; great aunts and great uncles along with, the love of her life, her loving boyfriend Jake Brock. Too many cousins to name and a host of other loving relatives and friends that all loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her unborn baby in heaven, "Granny" Mary Ann Purdy, grandmother Nannette Gassman, Aunts Karen Purdy and Jennifer Gassman and Uncle Bill Reffitt.
