Marguerite Hoke, aged 79, passed away on June 25, 2024, in Tyler, Texas. Born on November 17, 1944, in Missouri, she was a loving, spirited, and wise woman known for her deep-rooted kindness and insightful nature.
Marguerite found great joy in watching sports and was an avid participant in local arts and crafts. Together with her friend Cynthia, she managed booths at Canton, selling handmade arts, crafts, and homemade spices. This was more than a hobby; it was a passion that allowed her to connect with her community and share her creative spirit.
She was a devoted member of the Brookeland United Pentecostal Church, where she found spiritual solace and fellowship. Her faith was an integral part of her life, guiding her through her journey and inspiring those around her.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Elbert Hoke. She is survived by her stepson Jason Hoke and his wife, Kasey; Kris Renee Servos and her husband Jerry; grandchildren John Wesley Servos and Jarod Daniel Hoke. She also leaves behind cherished friends and caretakers, Bernie and Cynthia Hale, who supported her through her later years with unwavering dedication and love.
The Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas, is overseeing the arrangements.
