Ola Marie Terry, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at the age of 86.

Marie was born on July 30, 1934 in Canton, Texas to the late Henry and Gertrude Bates. She grew up in Wills Point most of her life. She held membership with Locust Grove Baptist Church and a member of Southwestern Bell Pioneer Club. Marie married John Terry on September 2, 1990. She worked at the Texas State Fair, MHMR and Southwestern Bell where she retired after 32 years in the year of 1994. Marie loved everyone she met. She loved her church, her plants and helping anyone that needed it.

To cherish her memories, Marie leaves behind her daughters, Cindy Garth and husband James of Wills Point, Texas, Laquita Craft and husband Larry of Mabank, Texas and Gretchen Carman of Grapevine, Texas; brother Henry Bates and wife Jan of Wills Point, Texas; sisters Helen Boothe and husband Buddy of Wills Point, Texas and Janelle Rand of Terrell, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, stillborn son Christopher Mark Lowe and many other loved ones.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas. Online condolences may be made at allanfullerfuneralhome.com.
