Memorial service for Martha Mae Couch, 86, of Wills Point will be held at a later date. Interment will be at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 5, 2016, in Canton.

Martha was born December 3, 1929, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of William Mack Weaver and Ina Mae Christian Weaver. She was raised in Dallas and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. On March 12, 1949, she married Walter Ray Couch in Dallas. Martha was formerly employed by John Deere in Dallas, retiring in 1983. Martha was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by her parents, William Mack and Ina Mae Weaver; husband, Walter Ray Couch, Sr. on December 31, 1953; daughter, Martha Darlene Anderson on March 6, 2003 and two sisters, Jeta Maxine Hooter and Mary Alice Way.

Martha is survived by her son, Walter Ray Couch & wife, Jane, of Wills Point; three grandchildren, Adria J. Weger & husband, Jeremy, Arin E. Sue & husband, Michael and Thomas Ray Vail; three great-grandchildren, Annabeth Elise Weger, Thomas Ray Vail, Jr. and Morgan Patrick Vail and one great-great grandson, Oliver James Vail.
