Martha S. Platter, 82, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at her residence.

Martha was born on March 13, 1940, to the late Elbert and Florence Cunningham in Wills Point, Texas. She spent all her life as a resident of Wills Point. She graduated from Wills Point High School with the class of 1959. Martha married her late husband Calvin Platter on May 22, 1959. She worked for Malouf Manufacturing for 18 years and then worked at Walmart for 18 years retiring in 2017. Marth enjoyed gardening and spending time in her flower beds.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brother and one sister.

Martha is survived by her son Steven Platter and wife Anita of Wills Point; daughter Susan Pruett and husband John of Wills Point; grandchildren, Justin Platter, Danielle and Joey Vasquez, Garrett and Shelby Platter and Kadence Pruett; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Rylee, Emma, Jade, Callie and Emery.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 24, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at Haven of Memories in Canton, Texas. Online condolences may be made at mullinfullerfuneralhome.com.
