Martin Edward "Marty" Coyne, age 70, passed away on May 13, 2025, in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Born on February 21, 1955, in Rock Island, Illinois, Marty was raised in the close-knit community of Coyne Center. He graduated from Sherrard High School in Sherrard, Illinois in 1973.

On October 29, 1977, Marty married Sandra Jain Partlow, beginning a partnership that would span nearly five decades. Together they built a life rooted in love and family.

Marty worked as a truck driver throughout his career and retired in 2020. His work took him across many miles and landscapes, but his heart was always with his family and the places he called home. After living for sixteen years in Wills Point, Texas, Marty eventually settled in Center, Texas in 2023.

Marty is lovingly remembered by his wife Sandra Jain Coyne; daughters Traci Carothers and her husband Tim, and Bambi Wilburn and her husband Timbo; grandchildren Tanner Carothers and his wife Amanda, Ty Carothers, Bailee Rash and her husband Daniel, and Sawyer Wilburn and his wife Kelsi; great-grandchildren Stetson Rash, Raegan Wilburn, Carter Rash, and Emmie Wilburn. He is also survived by his brothers Mike Coyne and Tom Coyne; sisters Kathy Woodward, Nancy Briggs, Bonnie Rainwater, Janet Aguilar, and Peggy Dreyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Coyne and Marilyn Young Coyne as well as his brother Jason Coyne.

Marty lived a life grounded in the Christian faith. His legacy lives on through the generations of family who carry forward the values he held dear.
