Marvin William Morton born February 4, 1933, and passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 88.

He was one of seven children. Marvin was born to Geraldine Baker and Lawrence P. Morton, Sr. in Dallas, Texas.

Marvin is survived by his two children Karen and husband Jimmy, Kathy and husband Tri. His grandchildren, Laura, and Leslie. His great-grandchildren, Taylor and Halle. Also, brothers Gerald, Granville and sisters Catherine, Martha, and other numerous relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joanne of 61 years, his parents, his sister Patricia, and his brother Larry.

Marvin had his own motor company, worked for The Life Building Dallas, and the Post family for many years. Marvin was a Eucharistic minister and taught Sunday School at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. He was a member of St. Luke's of Wills Point upon passing. Mavin loved family game night, telling his stories, working in the garden, re-wiring a motor and always being busy with his hands.
