Mary Louise Britton passed away on May 01, 2025, in Grand Saline, Texas. Born on February 15, 1930, in Gainsville, Texas to Raymond and LuLu Eskue, she was adopted by her aunt and uncle, Howard and Lillie Smith.

She married Roger Britton on January 22, 1949, and he preceded her in death on September 4, 2017. Louise retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1990 after 22 years of service and enjoyed baking, gardening, and caring for animals.

She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Joiner and husband Dan, several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the SPCA of East Texas, P.O. Funeral services for Mary Louise Britton are scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Edgewood Church of Christ with Brother, Ken Maddox. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time.  The burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Edgewood, Texas.
