Mary Elizabeth Henson (Gorman), aged 84, passed away on August 23, 2024, in Wills Point, Texas. Born on December 2, 1939, in Dallas, Texas, she grew into a resilient and diligent individual, characteristics that defined her throughout her life.

Mary's early career included positions at Braniff Airlines and the Dallas Public Library, which laid a strong foundation for her subsequent three-decade tenure in the banking industry. Her commitment to her work was paralleled by her dedication to various hobbies, including staying informed through the news, engaging in conversations on the phone, and tending to her garden and yard.

A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1958. Her mental toughness and work ethic were not only evident in her professional life but also in how she faced challenges, always fighting to the end.

Mary is survived by her sons, Kevin Henson, and Seth (Harry) Henson; daughters Dana Henson-Davidson (David), Stephanie Edwards (Marcus), and Elizabeth Brown; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; nephew Todd Garrett (Rita). She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Gorman and Vaughnetta Stapleton, her brother Gene Gorman, and sisters Patricia and Rita.
