Mary Ann Sayre, 88 of Richardson, Texas passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022.

Mary was born on January 10, 1934, to the late Harvey and Freida Smith in Lexington, Oklahoma. She graduated from Noble High School in 1951. Mary married the love of her life Lloyd Elmo Sayre on December 2, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They shared 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2005. She worked for Clark Checks for 20 years before retiring, and later working at TJ Max for over 25 years after getting bored from being home all the time. Mary's favorite hobby was working in her garden, whether it be at home or on her farm. She loved to have a house and yard full of plants. She also enjoyed being with family and especially the grandkids all the time. Mary was a very warm and loving mother and grandmother.

Mary leaves behind her daughter Anna Sayre; son David Sayre; grandchildren, Carressa Jan, Shannin Guillen, Nicole McCarthy, Johnathan Sayre; grandsons in law, Danny Guillen-Dominguez and John McCarthy; great-grandchildren, Christian Guillen, Daniel Guillen, Alicia Guillen, River McCarthy, Hallie Jan, and Kaycee Maxwell.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Elmo Sayre; parents, Harvey and Frieda Smith; brothers, Gene Smith and Harvey Duane Smith.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at DFW National Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at mullinfullerfuneralhome.com.
