Obituary

Melba Jean Gaston, 90, of Wills Point, Texas passed away on May 6, 2023. Melba was born in Greenville, Texas on March 29, 1933, to Authur and Erma Langford.

Melba was raised in Greenville, Texas then later moved to Wills Point, Texas where she married the love her life, Raymon Gaston on September 30, 1949.

Melba enjoyed her time gardening and socializing with her friends from church. One of her most memorable moments was when she helped serve and attend the dinner at the White House for the inauguration for George W Bush with Eddie Deen Bar B Que.

Melba is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Raymon Gaston; brothers, Barney Langford, John Langford, LeRoy Langford; sisters, Bessie Petrea, Geraldine Kirby, Jo Nell Allen, Mildred Wright, Patsy Sue Langford, and great-great-grandaughter Everly Tankersly.

Melba leaves behind son Billy Gaston and wife, Wendy; daughters, Barbara Huntsman and husband, Neal; and Dorthy Dillard. One brother Wayne Langford and five grandchildren; Matt Gaston (Andi), Cassie Eubanks (Eric), Kyle Neely (Belinda), Aaron Neely (Mindy) and Dustin Neely (Donna). Numerous of great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at Mullin- Fuller Funeral Home located in Wills Point, Texas on Friday May 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.  with visitation held one hour prior to service.
