Meranda Nichole Griffin, 28, a loving mother, sister, and daughter, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023, in Corsicana, Texas. Born on March 1, 1995, in Dallas, Texas, she was known for kindness and love to all who knew her.
Meranda was the cherished daughter of Mandy Griffin and the beloved ward of Anthony and Karen Prox. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Meriyah Nichole Trimble and son, Kylan Ra 'Layne Trimble. Meranda was a dear sister to Matison Hayes, Taquila Prox, Korry Prox, Kevin Prox, Michael Prox, and Javion Prox. She was a cherished daughter-in-law to Destiny Trimble and a beloved granddaughter to Linda Davidson, Betty Mixon, and Charles Hall. She was predeceased by her grandmothers, Patricia Griffin and Karen Gibson. Meranda also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her deeply.
Meranda was a proud graduate of Mabank High School, class of 2014. Her hardworking nature led her to a fulfilling career at Wal-Mart in Corsicana, Texas, where she was a valued and respected employee. To know her is to love her by all.
Meranda had a deep love for her babies Meriyah and Kylan, butterflies, a symbol of transformation and beauty that perfectly represented her spirit. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She was a pillar of strength and love, always putting her children and family first. Her kindness was infectious, and she had a unique ability to make everyone around her feel loved and cherished.
Meranda was a woman of many virtues, but her loving nature and kindness stood out the most. She had a heart full of love and a smile that could light up any room. Her kindness was not just limited to her family and friends but extended to everyone she met. She had a way of making people feel special and loved, and her presence was a source of comfort and joy to many.
Meranda Nichole Griffin's life was a testament to the power of love and kindness. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
