Michael "Mike" Edwin Smith, of Wills Point, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at the age of 71.

Mike was born on October 17, 1949 to Sybil Oleta Smith in Tyler, Texas. He was raised in Dallas and moved to Wills Point from Quinlan in 1986. He married Brenda Hunter on November 7, 1981. They were members of Wills Point Church of Christ. Mike worked as an accountant for the City of Dallas where he retired in 2000. After retirement he went and worked for Boles Home. Mike enjoyed reading books, doing crossword puzzles, and going to the movies.

To cherish his memories, Mike leaves behind his loving wife Brenda Smith of Wills Point; sons, Shaun Smith and Tiffany of Wills Point and Scott Smith of Fort Worth; brothers, Steve Lancaster and Joan of Dallas and David Lancaster and Vickie of Dallas; grandchild Adrian Smith of Wills Point; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents James and Sybil Lancaster.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Allan Fuller Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Private burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. Online condolences may be made at allanfullerfuneralhome.com.
