Michael Louis Franks, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020, at the age of 66.

Michael was born on September 1, 1954 to Martha Lynn Garrett and Louis Albert Franks, in Gilmer, Texas. Michael was raised in California and New Mexico. He married his wife, Sue Sivess on August 3, 1983. The two of them shared their life in Quinlan, moving to Wills Point ten years ago. He was a pipeline welding inspector all over the United States until retiring for medical reasons in May of 2015. Michael enjoyed shooting, motorcycles, nice trucks, and muscle cars. He was a member of the NRA and TSRA.

To cherish his memories, Michael leaves behind his wife Sue Anne Franks of Wills Point; son Shaun Michael Franks of Wills Point, Texas; sister Karen Lynn Franks of Calvin, Louisiana; father Louis A. Franks of Calvin, Louisiana; mother in law Dorothy Sivess of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his mother.
