Mildred Jaunita Clark Morgan, of Wills Point, Texas passed away at home surrounded by family on December 28, 2021 at age 93.
Mildred (Mil) was born on February 26, 1928 to the late Roy E. (Tommie) and Letha P. Clark in the Rocky Point Community north of Wills Point. She spent most of her life in Wills Point and graduated from WPHS in 1946. She met her late husband of 60 years, Tommy Morgan, while working at the family-owned Clark's Café. Mil was a member of First Baptist Church of Wills Point. She was a stay-at-home Mom raising two children while also caring for other children. She was a well-known seamstress, sewing for many women in town. She was an accomplished artist and member of the Van Zandt County Art League and had several of her paintings displayed in businesses around town. Mil also served as the manager of the Senior Citizen Nutrition Center on South Pecan Street for many years.
To cherish her memories, Mildred leaves behind her daughter, Pansy Morgan, of Wills Point; son, Tony, and wife Nancy Morgan, of Wills Point; grandchildren, Shea Tomerlin, of Wills Point, Rebecca and husband, Brandon Erwin, of Whitehouse, TX, and great-grandchildren, Nathan, Journie, Mia, AnnaLee, and Caleb. Nieces, Laquita and Buddy Fellers, of Edgewood, Jackie and Tommy Foster, of Edgewood, Cathy and Brian Cummins, of Canton, and Sharon and Rand Melton, of Wills Point, along with many other family and friends, especially, Stacy Dee Hunter.
Mil is preceded in death by her parents, Tommie and Letha Clark, husband, Tommy Morgan, brother, Earl Clark and his wife, Marie Clark.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Graveside service will be Friday morning, December 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. Family will be accepting guests one hour prior for visitation at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at allanfullerfuneralhome.com.
