Obituary

Nancy Clell Benner, of Lewisville, Texas passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021, at the age of 97.

Nancy was born on August 29, 1923 to the late Charles and Rose Wallace in Jacks Creek, Tennessee. She was raised in Luling, Texas. On June 1, 1943 Nancy married her late husband Percy Benner. Together they moved to Wills Point in 1980. Nancy was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Wills Point. She retired as a teletype operator in Ft. Sam Houston in 1945. Nancy loved reading her bible, attending church, crossword puzzles and her passion for horses and watching the Texas Rangers.

To cherish her memories, Nancy leaves behind sons Charles Alton Benner, and wife, Jackie and Steven Maurice Benner, Sr.; daughters Nancy Ann Benner Lindsay, and husband, Bill, Joy Lynn Benner, Kathy Benner Lopez and Rebecca Benner; grandchildren Shannon, Patrick, Christian and wife, Christi, Laura, Bill Jr., Leslie, and husband, Darren, Jessica, Drew, Steven Jr., and wife, Stacy, Tamara, Angela and Amber, and husband, Mirike; and many loving great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Margaret June Bennett.

Funeral services will be held for family only on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Nancy will be laid to rest at Union Grove Cemetery in Wills Point, Texas.

Arrangements are under the care of Allan Fuller Funeral Home of Wills Point, Texas.
