Nicholas J. DeCanto, 79, of Garland, Texas passed away at his home on Monday, August 8, 2022.

Nicholas was born on August 23, 1942, to the late James and Rose DeCanto in Jersey City, New Jersey. He married his beloved wife Mary Pirtle on June 23, 1990. Nicholas was a truck driver for Preston Trucking retiring in 1999. He loved bowling and enjoyed antique car shows.

Nicholas is survived by his wife Mary DeCanto of Garland; sons, Mike Horton and Charlotte of MayPearl, Texas and Darrin DeCanto and Jen of Lodi, New Jersey; brother Sal DeCanto of White Hall, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Katie, Rebecca, Krystal, Brittani, Chris, Chris, Josh, and Suzi; great-grandchildren, Blake, Bentley, Bradley, Graci and Douglas.

Nicholas is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Joey DeCanto and Jim DeCanto.

Services will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Mullin Fuller Funeral Home. Family will be accepting guests one hour prior to the service for visitation. Nicholas J.
