Memorial service for Nickie Ron Housewright, 58, of Wills Point, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Wesley Ward officiating.

He passed away early Wednesday morning, November 9, 2016, at Hospice of East Texas surrounded by his family.

Nickie was born October 13, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Winfred Duane Housewright and Ruby Dell Johnson Housewright. He was raised in Garland and in 1976, he graduated from South Garland High School. On September 12, 1993, he married Tamara Lynne Combs in Fruitvale. Nickie was employed by Printing by Buck as a printer in Cockrell Hill for twenty-four years. In his spare time he enjoyed working on cars especially Chevy's and he was a great handyman who could do anything. He lived in Garland prior to moving Wills Point fifteen years ago. Nickie was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Dell Housewright and father-in-law, Bobby Joe Combs.

Nickie is survived by his wife, Tamara Housewright, of Wills Point; father, Buck Housewright & wife, Evangeline, of Grand Prairie; three sons, Chris Housewright & wife, Janet, of Carrollton, Tony Fedrick and Courtney Stewart, of Wills Point and Jacob Housewright, of Wills Point; two daughters, Melody Medders & husband, Chris, of Denton and Shannon Housewright, of Plano; three sisters, Gina Burgoyne, of Mesquite, Suzanne Tipton, of Mesquite and Amber Duckworth & husband, Derek, of Hurst; step-brother, Tony Anderson & wife, Darlene, of Seagoville; step-sister, Angela Anderson, of Wills Point; two grandchildren, Christian Housewright and Laney Fedrick; mother-in-law, Sylvia Fikes, of Terrell; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
