Obituary

Funeral services for Norma Lee Creed, 79, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Wills Point with Bishop Shane Terry and President Jonathan Brough officiating. Interment will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery south of Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away early Sunday morning, December 25, 2016, south of Wills Point.

Norma was born December 12, 1937, in Jefferson, Texas, the daughter of Houston Scott and Elsie Muriel McDonald. She was raised in Magnolia, Arkansas and was in the class of 1956 at Magnolia High School. On December 25, 1953, she married Milton Earl Smith, Jr. in Stephens, Arkansas and in 1958, they moved to Dallas. Later on November 6, 1976, she married Don Creed in Wills Point. Norma was formerly employed by Big D Auto Auction in Grand Prairie and retired from AT&T in 1994. Prior to moving to Wills Point twenty years ago, she lived in Farmers Branch. She enjoyed sewing, genealogy and gardening. Norma loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Preceded in death by her parents, Houston Scott and Elsie Muriel McDonald; brother, Donald Scott; sister, Beverly Corbin and a grandson, David Spicer.

Norma is survived by her husband, Don Creed, of Wills Point; four daughters, Donna Theresa Timmons & husband, Robert, Sr., of San Antonio, Bevery Ann Beall & husband, Craig, of Lewisville, Cheree Lynette Ivy & husband, Dennis, of Wills Point and Karen Lee Workman & husband, Tod, of Westin, Florida; two sons, James Ray Creed & wife, Diana, of Wylie and Jeremy Richard Creed & wife, Linda, of Little Elm; brother, James David Scott & Wife, Trish, of Little Rock, Arkansas; step-brother, Howard Crutcher, of Felsenthal, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
