Patricia Ann Small went to be with her Lord on April 18, 2025, at the age of 85 while
residing at Woodway Rehabilitation Center in Woodway, Texas.  She had battled
Alzheimer's disease for over 4 years.

Pat was born in Dallas, Texas on September 28, 1939, to Mark and Verlie Ashworth.
Her family moved to Myrtle Springs, Texas when she was a young girl. She attended
the Myrtle Springs school system until transferring to Wills Point High School, where
she graduated in 1958. In September of that same year, she married Douglas Small.
They met at the Majestic Theater in Wills Point where Doug worked part-time.
Doug and Pat had two children: Mike and Laura. Pat was a homemaker for several
years and enjoyed vacationing with her family as well as having friends over for
game nights.  She began substitute teaching in the Wills Point School system in the
1970s and later spent many years working at Traylor Furniture in Terrell, where she
loved meeting and interacting with the customers there.

After she and Doug both retired, they traveled the state of Texas extensively with the
goal of visiting the county seats of all 254 counties in Texas.  They made tremendous
progress toward that goal until the COVID pandemic. Doug passed away in August
2021.

Pat is survived by her two children, Mike Small of Plano, Texas and Laura Williams of
McGregor, Texas along with Laura's husband Chuck and their two sons; Bryan
Williams of Washington, D.C. and Matthew Williams of McGregor, Texas.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the
Alzheimer's research charity of your choice.

A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M.  The funeral service will take place on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10 A.M. at the Mullin Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point, Texas.
