Born in Mexia, TX on Oct. 10, 1945
Departed on Jan. 10, 2015 and resided in Canton, TX.
Funeral services for Paul Dan "Bo" Hines, 69, of Canton are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.
He passed away on January 10, 2015 in Canton of natural causes.
Paul was born October 10, 1945, in Mexia, Texas, the son of Billie Paul Hines and Florene Herring Hines. He was raised in DeSoto, where he graduated from DeSoto High School. Paul was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. Paul was a loving and loyal family member and will be greatly missed. He also enjoyed working outside as an avid arborist. Paul has lived in Canton for the past fifteen years and was currently employed as a security officer.
Preceded in death by his father, Billie Paul Hines in 1971.
Paul is survived by his mother, Florene Hines, of Terrell; sister, Janie Pettus & husband, Gary, of Terrell; 2 nephews, Zachary Pettus & wife, Kelly, of Terrell and Zebulon Pettus, of Terrell; 3 great nieces, Zariah Pettus, Kasia Pettus and Kylie Pettus; great nephew, Aden Pettus; aunt & uncle, Reta & Arlon Howze, of DeSoto; numerous cousins. He is also survived by step-daughter, April Dillard & husband, Sam, of Ben Wheeler and their two children, Samuel & Sarah Dillard, of Ben Wheeler.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
