Funeral services for Paul Edward Wilson, 72, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday one hour prior to service.

He passed away early Wednesday morning, August 19, 2015, at his residence near Lake Tawakoni.

Paul was born March 1, 1943 in Terrell, the son of Charles Samuel Wilson and Bertha Myrtle Vining Wilson. He was raised in Royse City where he attended public school. On February 13, 1962, he married Brenda Joyce Honeycutt in Terrell. Paul was a self-employed house painter for several years, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing the guitar and singing. Paul lived in Kaufman prior to moving to Wills Point twenty years ago. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Terrell.

Preceded in death by his parents, Charles Samuel Wilson and Bertha Myrtle Wilson and twelve siblings.

Paul is survived by his wife, Brenda Wilson, of Wills Point; three sons, Ricky Wilson & wife, Kristi, of Wills Point, Mark Wilson, of Wills Point and Chad Wilson & wife, Lacey, of Wills Point; two daughters, Debbie Gray & husband, Mark, of Scurry and Lisa Turner & husband, Glenn, of Wills Point; thirteen grandchildren, Jodie, Chase, Brandon, Brittany, Kimi, Joanie, Justin, Dustin, Ricky Paul, Brianna, Gavin, Jayden and Laney; nine great-grandchildren and his best friend of sixty years, Danny Jacobs, of Terrell.
