Paulette Kendall Massey, aged 82, of Fruitvale, Texas, was called to her eternal rest on June 18, 2024. Born in Diamond, Ohio on April 20, 1942, Paulette "Polly" was the cherished daughter of the late James Kenneth Hawthorne and Helen McCullough Hawthorne.

A graduate of Union Local High School Class of 1960, Polly led a life marked by dedication and achievement, notably retiring as President of Fidelity Title after many years of esteemed service. Her intelligence and loving spirit were a beacon to all who knew her, and she will be remembered for her unwavering acceptance and kindness toward others.

Polly's memory will be forever treasured by her devoted husband, Danny Massey; her beloved sons, Russell Adams (Sharla) of Allen, Texas, and John Kendall (Jennifer) of Austin Texas; along with her dear grandchildren Jamie Prater (Chase), Sherise West, Dillon Curtis Adams, Hayden Coel Kendall, and John Robert Henry "Jack" Kendall; great-grandchildren Cohen and Cash Prater She leaves behind a legacy of love with her brother Bobby Hawthorne and sisters Joyce Schrodes and Helen Mercer.

Her spirit is reunited with those who predeceased her: her parents James and Helen, her daughter Paulette Leigh Adams, granddaughter Emily Rhiannon Adams Vitale, and her siblings Sandy Snyder, Mary Ann Weir, Jerry Hawthorne, and Kenneth Hawthorne.

The family will receive friends at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home, 205 Corky Boyd Avenue, Wills Point, Texas, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. A service to honor Polly's life and faith will follow at 11:00 a.m. The rite of committal will take place at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
